Meet CJ Pearson: 12 Year Old Black Tea Partier.

I've often said, without a trace of cynicism, that if I wanted to get instantly famous and rich, all I had to do with convert to an Obama-hatred site. I wouldn't need to solicit Conservatives for money or exposure. That would just come to me automatically, because there's always a market for Black People Who Publicly Profess Their Hatred For Obama. There probably always will be.

Most of the Obama haters are grown-ups, so since I'm 41 it's not like I'd be cornering some new market. But , and he's about to cash in handsomely.
Many 12-year-olds have figured out how to become overnight internet sensations. Twerk. Try to swallow a spoonful of cinnamon. Sing like Beebs. But C.J. Pearson took a different approach: a three-minute rant against President Barack Obama and his, “downright hate for the American values our country北京体彩网官方网站 holds.”

Pearson said the video is in defense of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who first launched the “Obama hates America” charge in criticism of the president’s policies on ISIS.

It was only Saturday that Pearson launched a YouTube channel and posted his very first video, “President Obama: Do you really love America?” As of Monday afternoon, it has gotten more than a half million views, nearly 6,000 likes and about 500 thumbs down.

He was trending heavily on Facebook and several blogs. Television stations and newspapers – some international – have picked up his story. Several GOP and conservative sites picked it up. Allen West forwarded it. He said he is scheduled to be on “Fox and Friends” later this week.

Slight in stature, his hair is closely cropped. Put him in an oversized suit and tie and he could be any other 12-year-old imitating Obama at his school’s annual President’s Day assembly. He talks years – or maybe decades – beyond his age, repackaging conservative talking points into neat little sound bites.

Last November, he started his own political group, “Young Georgians in Government,” where he is listed as executive director. He said he started it to bring “real solutions to government.”

Pearson said he got involved in politics by studying the 2008 presidential election. He supported John McCain, because he agreed with his conservative views. He was five years old. He has recently campaigned for the likes of Nathan Deal and David Perdue.

“I would say that my political ideology came from researching the principles that I held dear,” Pearson said. “Limited government, personal responsibility, liberty and freedom. I personally identified with Republicans.”

Pearson said his parents, who would not comment, have been supportive of his political course. “My parents are not as politically active as me,” Pearson said. “They are Democrats and have different views than I have.”

There are inherent risks in becoming an internet sensation, especially when race is involved. It is not without irony that Pearson is a bright young African-American blasting the president and his love for America. Comments on his pages and throughout social media have been wildly supportive and vitriolically angry – falling largely along racial lines.

And what about Pearson’s future? He said he has serious political aspirations and has already tried to craft legislation for this year’s general assembly.
Here's the pro-Rudy/anti-Barry screed that's made this kid an overnight Conservative sensation.

Okay, I'm gonna take the glass half full approach here: it's actually refreshing to hear a black kid speak good English, and find notoriety online for something other than the usual Terrio/Yeet!/Latarian nonsense. So there's that.

Look, I get it: this is an easy way to get yourself on Fox News. He'll probably get paid to show up at CPAC or something like that. I'm sure there's a deal for his own radio show being worked on at this very moment. Even if you don't believe in what you're saying (and I'm thinking this kid is waaaay to young to even understand the talking points he's spewing) this is a damn clever way to make some quick cash, maybe even enough to afford a good shapeup a semester at community college someday.

On the other hand: seriously, kid, WTF?

Does he really even know what he's saying? He's clearly reading a script (quite well, FWIW) but no 12 year old can actually comprehend international diplomacy. Sheeeit, most 52 year olds can't actually comprehend international diplomacy. And yeah, I'm wondering what exactly this kid's parents are doing here. Maybe they know "the game", find their child's speeches amusing, and see an easy way to fatten up the kid's 529 Plan. If I was the sort to place wagers, I'd go to and put $100 on it.

In any event, I hope someone semi-responsible is in this child's life. Much like , he's gonna probably realize how dumb this looks when he's 17 and suddenly wants to get laid. Either that or he's gonna be used as a Conservative Puppet and discarded before he even hits puberty.

Word to Herman Cain. And Michael Steele. And Angela McGlowan.

Quit while you're ahead, kid. This ends badly.

Question: Is this poor kid heading for a very sad letdown, or is he running the ultimate Grand Hu$tle on Conservatives?

Warren Sapp, Discount Sex Workers, And Why You Should Just Get A SpectraVision Movie.

. The next day, Eugene was the one the Broncos scored on (see what I did there?) as he gave up big play after big play. Bengals running back Stanley Wilson once relieved pregame stress by . The Raiders Barret Robbins just said eff' it all and , choosing to head to Mexico and get white guy wasted. In each instance, the player's team was so distracted they got pummeled on Super Bowl Sunday. Either that or they were just outmatched and were gonna lose anyway.

NFL analyst (and Hall Of Famer) Warren Sapp is no stranger to Super Bowl weekend shenanigans, having been (which was later dropped) a few years back. Apparently Sapp learned his lesson this year. Why bring sand to the beach (and literally beat it up) when you can just go to the beach and buy sand ().[1]
In the early morning hours before NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp's arrest on assault and solicitation of prostitution charges, hotel guests at the Phoenix downtown Renaissance awoke to what they believed to be an argument and physical altercation in a hotel hallway, Yahoo Sports has learned.

The Phoenix police department and an employee at the Renaissance declined comment Monday, but a source with details of Sapp's arrest told Yahoo Sports that sometime around 2:30 a.m. MT, guests reported hearing an argument followed by objects banging in either the hallway or another room. When guests opened doors to see the disturbance, at least one reported seeing two women – one lying on the floor with apparent marks associated with a physical altercation, and a second woman who was with her, the source said. The women were shouting and alleged that Sapp had assaulted them and asked for someone to call police, the source said.

Officers arrived shortly after the incident and interviewed the woman who had alleged the assault. Officers then began to look for the second woman, who had left the scene. Both eventually identified themselves to police as escorts who had met Sapp in the hotel. The source said Sapp was interviewed by police, then remained in his room until the second woman could be located. It was after the second woman was found and interviewed that Sapp was taken into custody and subsequently charged with soliciting prostitution and assault around 7 a.m. local time.
For those of you keeping score at 北京体彩网官方网站, Sapp appears to have arranged a threesome with a couple of ladies of the evening, partook in said threesome, then decided to short one of them on the agreed upon payment. When things went south, Sapp proceeded to beat both women up, at which point the hookers asked another hotel guest to call the police. Then one of the hookers remembered hooking was illegal and got the hell outta there. Both hookers, and Sapp, were all eventually apprehended. What a weekend! Who knows what the dispute was over. Maybe Sapp had a Buy One, Get One Free Super Bowl Hooker Coupon and tried to redeem it too late. I hate it when that happens (At Chipotle!)

I'm a dedicated, married man, so I can't speak on this, but I wonder what makes a still somewhat famous, still somewhat wealthy man choose to buy a couple of hookers? I mean, I know Sapp's no longer in the NFL, but he's got name recognition. This bama nearly won Dancing With The Stars for crissakes. Are you telling me he didn't have enough face recognition and game to pull some random bar/club groupie on Super Bowl weekend? Seriously?

I know men (allegedly) pay hookers to leave, but hookers, last I checked, were still illegal in most states. Random bar/club groupie isn't. It just makes no sense, financially, legally or otherwise to pay for it when you have a name and/or money. I don't get it. Isn't that what Tinder is (allegedly) for?[2]

In any event, Sapp's gonna have a lot less money now, since he just got canned by the NFL Network. Like , who was recent busted for buying a hooker off Backpages in DC, Sapp was let go immediately. I doubt he ever gets another gig associated with the NFL.

All this for some random trim?

Sapp shoulda just gone back to his room, ordered a SpectraVision[3] movie and called it a night.

Question: With so much to potentially lose, why would someone like Warren Sapp hire a sex worker?

            [1] No Trey Songz

[2] Seriously, what is Tinder all about?

[3] This no longer exists, I know.

#BlackBrunchNYC, Racist Fox News Hosts, And Drive-By Activism.

It might come as somewhat of a shock to those of you who've followed this site for a long time, but I no longer watch cable news. What was once an (admitted) obsession of mine is dead. I'm not sure what caused me to stop, or when exactly it happened, but it was likely during the George Zimmerman trial when I finally realized that most of cable news is pure manufactured BS. The goal isn't to inform, it's to enrage enough to not change the channel. The hosts aren't experts, nor are they journalists, nor are they even necessarily bright. They're just people who look reasonably good in front of a camera and can read off a teleprompter without stuttering.

            .
Fox Business News host Charles Payne was among those who denounced "#blackbrunch" protesters on Sunday who interrupted white restaurant customers to raise awareness about police brutality.

"Goodness this isn't what Montgomery Bus Boycott or Woolworth sit-ins were about -this is ignorance #blackbrunchnyc," he wrote in a tweet that was retweeted over 600 times.

Goodness this isn't what Montgomery Bus Boycott or Woolworth sit-ins were about -this is ignorance #blackbrunchnyc pic.twitter.com/ewRbXOi1Sx
            — Charles V Payne (@cvpayne) January 4, 2015

But the photo Payne shared with his tweet wasn't an image from Sunday's protests at all. Instead, it was a racist meme that's been widely shared on white supremacist websites and other corners of the Internet as far back as 2010.

The original photo, which was published by the Detroit News, shows a crowd rushing through a door to pick up federal housing assistance forms. At some point, a KFC logo was photoshopped onto the glass doors and the caption "Photograph from the opening of a new KFC in Detroit, 2009" was added to the image.

Payne's vague responses didn't make clear why he thought the KFC meme was relevant to the discussion. When one Twitter user asked him "So with it being a fried chicken place this has to be parody, right?" Payne replied "Oh god I wish…man do I wish it was."

Payne did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TPM. But he did tweet that he'd address the incorrect photo Monday on his Fox Business Network show, "Making Money." Curiously, after acknowledging that the KFC image was incorrect, he continued to insist that it depicted a real event and was not photoshopped.
To be perfectly honest, I thought #BlackBrunchNYC was a pretty silly idea myself. Agitating people who merely wanted to enjoy some mimosas and overpriced French Toast isn't "Fighting The Power", unless the "Power" is high blood sugar. It was in an odd way, a form of bullying: encroaching on the time and space of people who have nothing to do with #BlackLivesMatter and ruining their overpriced breakfast/lunch experience in the process.

I woulda been more impressed if these folks took a busride down to... say... Bucks County Pennsylvania and interrupted breakfast at a few diners there. Not that woulda taken some balls and made a statement. Interrupting bleeding heart liberals in Manhattan who were likely already down for your cause? Well, that's sorta weak.

But I digress. Payne coulda easily made a similar point without adding in a stereotypical photo. But you gotta remember who this guy is, and who he works for. You should never trust a black man under the age of 50 that doesn't have a shape-up. Payne is proof of that. He's also proof that self-loathing black conservatives will always have a job, no matter that they say, simply because they're effective proxies/racial force fields for those who employ them.

If Charles Payne were alive during the Civil Rights Movement, he would accused Rosa Parks of "reverse racism" for not wanting to sit with white riders.

Question: What did you think of #BlackBrunchNYC? Should Fox News fire Charles Payne for this Negro Nonsense, or promote him?

About That Bobby Shmurda Audition Video....

If you haven't heard "Hot N*gga", don't know what the "Shmoney Dance" is, or generally have decent taste in music, you might wanna sit this one out. I don't have the time, energy, or inclination to describe the fleeting one-hit-wonder known as Bobby Shmurda. I just hope he, that weirdo who sings "Club Goin' Up On A Tuesday", and Trinidad James all have good financial handlers. Because they're all gonna be back to working the 3rd shift at Wendy's at some point, and the folks who pull up at the drive-thru are gonna have plenty of material to rag them about.

            Case in point.

That, my friends, is what is often referred to as coonery. Apparently when he went to Epic to negotiate his record deal, Shmurda put on an impromptu concert with a medley of his biggest hits. And yeah, it was cringeworthy. Look at the white women in the first row. They look like they've just been street harassed at their Day Job. Look at the (smattering of) black folks. They look like "did I just spend $150k on an Columbia education to deal with this sh*t?"

I could make a larger point about how indicative this is of the current state of hip-hop, but whatever. I'm more interested about how "behind closed doors" meetings somehow get recorded and go viral. What's up with that?

Question: Does this make you sadder for Bobby Shmurda or the handful of "black record company execs" in the room?

Ashy Or Classy?!? Ray Rice Halloween Costumes.

For the first time in my adult life, I'm actually dressing up for Halloween. I'm going as a Secret Service Agent, to provide security for my 2 year old, who is going as Princess Tiana. I know some of you are saying "why Secret Service Agent", and the answer is really simple: because it's the easiest costume ever. Put on a black suit, crisp white dress shirt, all black tie, and black shades. I might have to create an earpiece, but whatever. It's a simple, largely inoffensive costume.

Of course, for some people, simple and inoffensive isn't what Halloween's all about. S, often with disastrous results.
Photos of people dressing up as Ray Rice for Halloween are drawing ire from social media.

Last month, Rice was cut from the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely from the NFL after video surfaced of the football player punching his now-wife Janay Rice unconscious in an elevator.

In one photo, a man wearing Rice's No. 27 Ravens jersey drags a blow-up doll by a leg. In another photo, a man in blackface wears a Rice jersey and poses next to a woman, who has a black eye. Kids are dressing up as Rice as well. In one instance, a boy carries a doll by the hair.
So yeah, this happened. Seriously, white folks, WTF?!?

Whatever "parent" allowed their kid to dress up as Ray Rice, complete with an "abused Janay Palmer doll" needs to have CPS called to their house pronto. This sh*t is Ashy and damn near perverted.

Question: Ashy Or Classy? Are these costumes disgusting, or good ole' fashioned American fun?!?

The Problem With Donald Sterling (And The NBA).

. I suppose I'm obligated to discuss it here.
Donald Sterling wasn’t in a courtside seat Sunday afternoon, where he would’ve had an up-close view of what his coarse words and corrosive opinions did to his Los Angeles Clippers.

The team was drained and unenthusiastic despite a crucial NBA playoff game in Oakland, Calif., against the Golden State Warriors. The Clippers’ most impactful action in a decisive loss came during pregame warmups, when they gathered at midcourt and peeled off their team-issued warmup jackets to reveal red shirts turned inside-out to hide the team logo — a sign of protest against the team’s 80-year-old owner, who allegedly made racist remarks to a girlfriend that were recorded and posted Saturday on the Web site TMZ.

The report is the latest in a series of allegations of racial and gender discrimination against Sterling, a real estate mogul and the longest-tenured team owner in a league whose player pool is more than three-quarters African American.

In the recording, a man identified as Sterling scolded the woman, identified as V. Stiviano, for posting to Instagram photographs of herself with African Americans and for attending Clippers games with them.

Sterling’s history paints a picture of a man who has let slip bigoted beliefs for years — and has, at least so far, sidestepped major repercussions. He was sued in 1996 for sexual harassment. In 2003 he testified in a separate court case that he occasionally paid women for sex. The same year, Sterling was sued by 19 tenants of a building he owned, along with the Housing Rights Center; they claimed Sterling’s employees refused repairs to black tenants and frequently threatened to evict them. Sterling settled the case for an undisclosed sum.

In 2009, Sterling spent $2.73 million to settle another suit, this time brought by the Justice Department, which alleged Sterling refused to rent his apartments to non-Korean tenants, preferring that black and Hispanic prospective tenants look elsewhere. The lawsuit quoted Sterling as saying in sworn testimony that “Hispanics smoke, drink and just hang around the building,” adding that “black tenants smell and attract vermin.”

Sterling also feuded with Elgin Baylor, a Washington native, NBA legend and the Clippers’ general manager for 22 years. Baylor, who has declined commenting publicly this weekend, sued Sterling in 2009 for discrimination and wrongful termination. In the lawsuit, Baylor, who is African American, alleged Sterling built his franchise with the “vision of a Southern plantation-type structure” and accused the team owner of a “pervasive and ongoing racist attitude.” A jury ruled in Sterling’s favor in 2011.

Nothing, though, has attracted attention like the recorded conversation that TMZ obtained and posted Saturday. Some have called for Silver to force Sterling to sell the Clippers, and others have said publicly that Sterling should face significant sanctions if the voice on the audio is proved to be his.
Let's not kid ourselves here: there is no defending what Sterling says here. Period. No qualifications. I'm sick of people who have made this a Conservative/Liberal issue (stop it already), a privacy issue (bullsh*t[1]) a free speech issue (free speech doesn't mean free of consequences) or an issue on par with the civil rights movement (please, kill the hyperbole) in some way.

Nope, what's here is an employer, making comments about his employees that would constitute creating a hostile work environment in 99% of workplaces. And yes, if the CEO of your company said something similar, he'd be in trouble as well.

My biggest issue here isn't necessarily with Sterling. It's with the NBA itself, which has allowed this racist ingrate to own a team for 3 decades, despite plenty of prior evidence that he is in fact, a racist ingrate. New commissioner Adam Silver is playing things as well as he possibly can thus far, as he's obviously beholden to owners first, players second. So yeah, good job, Mr. Silver. But if you're gonna move to have Sterling ousted, make sure it's clearly understood that this isn't merely because his golddigging girlfriend[2] secretly taped him saying some really racist sh*t. Nope, make it because Sterling has a well publicized history of doing some really racist sh*t, and this was just the tipping point.

On a somewhat related note, I hate that the Clippers had to stage that paltry "protest" prior to yesterday's game, then came out and got their asses handed to them by the Warriors. To me, it sorta seems like they spent a bit too much time watching ESPN and worrying about how to publicly respond, when they really shoulda just kept their heads down, focused on the task at hand (winning a crucial game) and let others (like Lebron James, whose comments were spot-on and pretty brave) speak on their behalf. Getting blown out is the absolute last way to stick it to Da' Man, especially when Da' Man is your employer. Play for the fans and each other. Eff' the racist owner.

I obviously think Sterling should be removed as owner, just as Marge Schott was, and just as Rush Limbaugh was prevented from becoming. The NBA is a multibillion dollar, worldwide corporate entity. It has no place for idiots like Donald Sterling.

Question: What should the NBA do to Donald Sterling? Should Magic Johnson be allowed to buy the team now?

[1] In a normal workplace, management can be held responsible for things said off the record, and away from/after office hours. The NBA is no different.

[2] Seriously, sista, what's up with you? #BlackGirlLost

Would You Publicly Whip Your Teenaged Daughter With A Belt For Twerking On Facebook?!?

My daughter turns two in a couple of months. She looks and sounds every bit of 3 already. She speaks in full, intelligible sentences, is over the 100th percentile in height and weight, and already has perfected the art of selective listening. She's also cute as a button. So yes, I have sleepless nights wondering what this is all going to look like in about 11-12 years. Namely, how I'm going to juggle the typical father/tweenage daughter dynamic.[1] You still have to maintain some level of authority while allowing a girl to find herself. Push too hard and it's revolt city. Be too passive and she'll walk right over you. It's a precarious balance that some fathers ace, and others don't even bother to navigate.

So when this video, courtesy of The Uppity Negro landed on my radar, I had to post it. And yeah, I already know. I'm scouring World Star Hip Hop for post fodder. It's that sorta day. Deal with it. Or Beal With It™. The video description says "Bad parenting or is this type of discipline acceptable now a days? Father disciplines his 13-year-old daughter after missing for 3 days messing around with boys & then posts all on facebook." and that's about all the context I have here.

Warning: This video contains some very offensive imagery and isn't for the weak at heart.

Well let's get one thing right out of the way: if you're going to publicly flog whip your child, you might want to check to make sure nobody has their i北京体彩网官方网站Phone out before you start whipping your child's ass in the Piney Courts Projects parking lot. So yeah, this guy is prolly going to jail for assault. Dumbass.

Beyond that, it's clear this sperm donor.... errr, "father" has no authority or control over his daughter. And while it's certainly understandable that he's upset (clearly!) there were probably 1,928 other ways to process and relay his disappointment. And he chose the absolute worst option possible. Great judgement, buddy. Pull out next time.

I won't add much more here, other than to say this man is wrong assed wrong, and that his daughter is prolly gonna be missing for a week "messing around with boys" next time, and might have a bun in the over upon return. Seriously, if you were that concerned, why didn't you call the cops and get them to issue an Aisha Amber alert? You know, like sensible concerned fathers do?

Instead, this ass hat is headed to jail and his daughter is one step closer to the pole. #message

            Nice work, breh.

Bonus: Since I'm already scraping the bottom on the internet barrel for material today, he's another example of Atrocious Black Parenting™ that I meant to post awhile back. This one's rather self-explanatory.[2]

Question: Add your two cents to this senseless story.

[1] Other than owning a firearm to ward of... err "vet" potential suitors.

[2] Is it just me, or do SOME Black people not understand the concept of putting your phone in "landscape" mode instead of "portrait"? Just sayin'.

Kill A Black Kid. Become A Folk Hero.

I've seen since Myrtle Beach Bike Week, this past Saturday.
Only a few handfuls of people showed up Saturday to meet a Florida gun show’s special guest of dishonor — George Zimmerman.

Over the course of six hours, fewer than 20 people at the New Orlando Gun Show asked for a free autograph or photo with Trayvon Martin’s reclusive killer, who was hanging out in a rear office of The Arms Room gun store in Orlando.

Zimmerman, who has complained of receiving a steady stream of death threats and is overwhelmed by debt since he killed unarmed teen Martin in 2012, said he was enjoying himself.

“Everything’s good. We’re having fun,” said the 30-year-old, who was signing pictures of himself with his dog. “I’m just here to meet supporters.”

He was joined at the event by his on-again-off-again gal pal Samantha Scheibe, who last year accused him of pointing a gun at her.

The meet-and-greet almost didn’t happen after the original venue for the gun show backed out because of the controversy surrounding Zimmerman, according to organizer Mike Piwowarski.

“Come on out and meet George Z! He’s here a few more hours. And no matter what you read, there are no protesters, lunatics or other varieties of a-- clowns,” the store posted on Facebook.
For those of you scoring at 北京体彩网官方网站, yes, this man received an appearance fee to sign autographs. His sole claim to fame is shooting a killing an unarmed black minor. But 20-some people found him enough of a hero to show up.

This ought to make you very nauseous.

Question: What sort of person shows up to get George Zimmerman's autograph?

            Wednesday, February 5, 2014

DMX To Box George Zimmerman, Avenge The Entire Black Race.

            .
Let's get ready to ... mumble. As in, what now, George Zimmerman?

Seems like the former neighborhood watchman has found yet another way to remain in the public limelight.

This time, he'll be stepping into a boxing ring to fight rapper DMX.

Zimmerman said the celebrity boxing match was his idea. Boxing was his hobby, he told Radar Online last month, even prior to the "incident." The incident, of course, is the February 2012 encounter in which he shot dead an unarmed Trayvon Martin, 17. He stood trial for murder, but was acquitted.

"Prior to the incident, I was actually going to the gym for weight loss and doing boxing-type training for weight loss," he told Radar. "A mutual friend put me in contact with Damon and provided me with an opportunity and motivation to get back in shape and continue with my weight loss goals and also be able to help a charity out."

Damon is Damon Feldman, owner of Celebrity Boxing and self-described opportunist, whose claim to fame is putting together bizarre matchups. Think Tonya Harding, Michael Lohan.

He said last week that he was accepting offers for someone to step into the ring for a three-round, pay-per-view fight with Zimmerman.

"The news has been out for an hour and my e-mail is overloaded with 8,000 people wanting to fight George," Feldman told CNN on Thursday.
So we've basically entrusted a damn crackhead with the task of exactly kharmic revenge on behalf of the entire race. Lovely, just lovely. Out of all the rappers we coulda chosen, we had to pick DMX? Really? A guy who's 150lbs soaking wet, which a history of mental problems is gonna beat a 200+ pound killer! guy with MMA training? Damn. Wasn't 50 Cent available? He was once a boxer, and he raps (sometimes). He's probably too rich to care. So how about real rap tough guys like Bumpy Knuckles, Trick Trick, and The Game. They've got plenty of free time on their hands, and Game even has a (somewhat puzzling) Trayvon Martin tattoo. Heck, he was even mistaken for Martin by internet race baiters some. . Why not Jayceon?

Anyways because Zimmerman hand-picked his opponent, we're stuck with DMX now. And as tough as he might come across, I thinking most of that is macho-posturing and heroin. Mostly the heroin. Need I remind you what happened the last time a macho-posturing rapper stepped into the ring?

Yeah, this could get ugly. Real ugly.

Keep your nose clean, and drink lots of raw eggs, X. The entire race is depending on you.

Question: Is DMX gonna get his clock cleaned by George Zimmerman? What will it mean for Black America when/if he does? Could you think of another rapper who might have been better equipped to handle this?

Richie Incognito Wants You To Know "He Isn't Racist". Because Is Anyone Actually Racist Anymore?

I suppose I'm contractually obligated to weigh in on this Richie Incognito/Johnathan Martin story, simply because I occasionally play fantasy football watch pro football while waiting for the NBA season to start. But honestly, I don't know what more to add.

While Martin has seemingly gone into witness protection since leaving the team, Incognito hit a series of softballs lobbed gently in his direction .
Suspended Miami Dolphins player Richie Incognito said the apparently threatening and abusive voicemails and text messages he sent to teammate Jonathan Martin, whom he called a good friend, "were coming from a place of love."

Incognito, in an interview with Fox's Jay Glazer, excerpts of which were broadcast today, addressed the accusations of hazing and racism he has faced since his suspension from the team for expletive-laced rants directed at the rookie.

"My actions were coming from a place of love," Incognito said. "No matter how bad or how vulgar it sounds, that's how we communicate, that's how our friendship was. Those are the facts and that's what I'm accountable for."

Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said the team suspended Incognito indefinitely on Nov. 4 after Martin turned in voicemails and text messages showing Incognito using the N-word to describe Martin and threatening his family, according to ESPN.

The controversy came to light after Fox Sports reported that Martin and other rookies had been forced to pay thousands of dollars for dinner tabs and vacations for more veteran members of the team.

The NFL is now investigating the Dolphins' workplace, according to Philbin. Incognito turned his cell phone over to Glazer to let him see the 1,142 text messages between the two men in their 18 months as teammates, including some showing that Martin and Incognito have been in contact even after the scandal broke.

In one message, sent after Martin left the team, the rookie congratulated Incognito on the Dolphins' win, and told Incognito, "I'm good."

In another message, Martin wrote, "I don't blame you guys at all. It's just the culture around football and the locker room got to me a little."
Here's part of the interview. Notice how Mr. Incognito has a fresh haircut, crisp Oxford, and speaks proper English the entire time. Word to Mike Vick.

Seriously, who's a guy gotta lynch around here to be called racist?

It might shock some of you, but I don't think Richie Incognito is racist. He's not racist, because nobody is racist in post-racial America. Richie's got black co-signers in the Dolphins' locker room who give him free license to spew the word "nigger" as frequently as he'd like without retribution, or for that matter, pushback. He's an honorary black man, far more honorable than the "half nigger" Martin, who simply didn't fit in and probably shouldn't have even been drafted by a team with this sort of locker room "culture".

What's most disheartening about all of this is listening to all the former players turns "analysts" essentially agreeing with Incognito and blaming the victim here. Negroes please.

What's clear to me is that Martin and Incognito have likely both played their last NFL games, albeit for drastically different reasons. Martin, because no team wants to hire a guy who will likely go to the press when something doesn't go his way, and Incognito because he's a racist scumbag. This isn't Riley Cooper, a guy who seemed to immediately understand what he did was wrong, make no excuses, and apologize to his teammates. Incognito's got a long history of misdeeds, and I suspect his 9th life was just pissed away.

But I could be wrong, I suppose.

Question: What's your read on this whole situation?

When Did Dr. Ben Carson Turn Into Such An A$$hole?!?

Dr. Ben Carson was one of those black people my parents always told me I should emulate growing up. The was the consummate "credit to the race" My Dad damn near forced me to read Gifted Hands while in college. Dr. Carson's back story was one even Hollywoood couldn't make up, even though it tried with the absolutely unwatchable Cuba Gooding Jr. flick that came out a few years ago.

Carson, once almost exclusively known in the black community, has increased his public profile over the past couple of years. He (in)famously stood up the President at a prayer breakfast, and has become a favorite of Conservatives, many of whom want him to run for President in 2016, although he has absolutely no qualification for President other than being black smart. Like many people who go from marginal notoriety to high profile in a short time, Dr. Carson seems to be getting high on his own supply. Witness this gem he dropped at something called a Values Voters Summit last weekend.[1]

The worst thing that happened to this country北京体彩网官方网站 since slavery? Seriously, my n*gga? The worst thing? Worse than world wars? Worse than recessions? Worse than AIDS? Worse than Jim Crow? Worse than 北京体彩网官方网站boyz In Outer Space? Seriously, my dude?

Can we have a word here? Just you and me?
            Dear Dr. Carson,

You are a smart man. You surely know the meaning of the word "Hyperbole". So please tell me when Obamacare:

            1) Made patients work in deplorable conditions for no money.

            2) Physically whipped, beat, and hung patients.

            3) Treated patients as property to be sold.

            4) Systematically broke up patient's families.

            5) Robbed patients of their heritage, culture, and identity.

You are making a caricature of yourself, just to gain the approval of people who will discard you the moment you say something they do not like. Please stop this, or we will have to reinstitute The Drop Squad to pay you a special visit.

            Sincerely,

One Black Man who really used to admire your accomplishments and now finds your schtick nauseating.
Question: What the f*ck is wrong with Dr. Carson? Can you think a few things worse than ObamaCare that have happened since The Big S?!?

Truckers Against Obama: Perhaps The Dumbest Tea Party Protest, Yet.

I don't take the Capital Beltway to work, but I once did. Until we moved deeper into the burbs a few years ago, I wasted hours and hours of my life sitting still, wondering where it all went wrong. After we moved, my commute was slashed to 1/4 of it's prior duration. And the subtracted stress of "people who can't drive!" added a few years to my life, I'm certain.

For those of you only vaguely familiar with DC traffic, I-495's reputation is well earned. , according to smart people responsible for gauging this sorta stuff. After "the sports teams suck" and "the houses are too damn expensive", it's my biggest qualm about the DC Urreah, an otherwise splendid place to call 北京体彩网官方网站.

I say all of that to say I'm happy I'm not on the Beltway today, because .
No major traffic delays were reported on the Beltway during Friday’s morning commute, police authorities said, despite a protest by about 30 tractor-trailers and pickup trucks against what organize describe as excessive government intrusion.

Around 8:30 a.m., police said, the trucks crossed into Maryland from Virginia on the Beltway. They were were traveling in the right lane of the Beltway at the rate of the rest of the traffic — around 40 to 45 miles per hour, due to the wet road conditions, according to Virginia State Police spokesman Corinne N. Geller.

At one point, four tractor-trailers started driving side-by-side, across all four northbound lanes of the inner loop. That caused traffic to slow to 15 miles per hour. State police troopers stopped the vehicles and “warned them not to impede traffic,” Geller said. The drivers were not issued tickets and allowed to “proceed on their way.”

There were no other major incidents reported as a result of the truck protests, she said. Minor delays were reported near the truckers at Route 236 in Annandale at the Braddock Road exit on the inner loop, but it was unclear from traffic cameras if the slowdown was due to the truckers.

On parts of the Beltway, police said the group stood out because they had American flags draped on their vehicles, along with signs that said “#T2SDA” (Truckers to Shut Down America).

Geller said the organizers of the protest, dubbed “Truckers Ride for the Constitution,” plan to take shifts and drive around the Beltway throughout Columbus Day holiday weekend. Extra troopers are on the road because of the expected uptick in holiday drivers, and because of the protest, she said.

The protest group’s agenda has evolved since the story began making the rounds of news outlets early this week, with a story in U.S. News & World Report that said some truckers wanted members of Congress arrested, while others called for the ouster of President Obama.

Andrews said the group still wants to get rid of Obama, but will do so by legal means. She said independent truckers also are upset about new regulations, including on idling and hours of service, that, she said, threaten to put them out of business.
If you Teabaggers understood "irony", you'd grasp a few cold, hard facts:

            1) You're protesting Obama (and Congress... sure, okay) but he lives nowhere near the Beltway, and he doesn't drive either. So not only isn't he being inconvenienced by your "protest", but it's also possible he doesn't even know you nimrods exist.

            2) I doubt any Congressman is actually hurt by your traffic jam, since many of them live inside the Beltway, or have drivers. BTW, most of them were prolly already at work well before your little stunt began.

            3) You're not hurting the people who (allegedly) are tyrannically oppressing you. You're hurting taxpaying, hardworking "Real Americans" who just want to get to the jobs they're still lucky to have, to pay for houses they're still lucky to afford.

            4) You're protesting government tyranny, but make your living on roads maintained by the government.

Get your dumb asses off the Beltway, and go deliver some freight. Assholes.

This is literally and figuratively .

Question: Am I being too hard on these fine "Real Americans" who just want to exercise their right to free speech? Will this protest have any lasting effects?

            NYC Street Bikers Attack Motorist.

I'm not a motorcyle enthusiast. Not even remotely so. In fact, I find "bikers", especially the "urban" variant, annoying and childish. Seriously, what grown assed man with real life responsiblities has time to put on a leather outfit and spend the entire weekend riding around the Beltway doing wheelies at 70mph in congested traffic with other grown assed men in matching leather outfits? Join an adult softball league and call it a day, sheesh.

That said, I really enjoy those World Star Videos where the "urban biker gangs" in New York City ride through congested city streets doing wheelies at 70mph. They pose no personal danger to me (unlike the assholes flying down 495) and if you watch the videos on a good TV with the surround sound on, they're actually an entertaining way to blow 15 minutes.[1] The bikers all have cameras mounted on their handlebars to capture the action, they splice the videos to accentuate the tricks, set it to some ignorant music, and voila. Instant entertainment.

One NYC family was not so entertained this past weekend, however, .
A gang of bikers terrorized a dad driving with his wife and baby daughter on the West Side Highway — chasing after their SUV and then dragging the man out and beating him to a pulp in front of his horrified family, authorities said.

One of the thugs even posted a video of the sickening beatdown on YouTube (images at left) after filming the pursuit using a helmet-mounted camera Sunday.

The attack seemed to come out of nowhere, authorities said. Alexian Lien, 33, of Manhattan, was driving the family’s Range Rover north near West 125th Street in Harlem when the gang, known as Hollywood Stuntz, surrounded the SUV at around 1:30 p.m., according to officials.

A biker pulled in front of the car and slowed down, forcing Lien to stop — at which point, as seen on the gang’s video, the bikers stop and a confrontation ensues. The panicked dad gunned the engine, striking several bikers — one of whom was seriously injured — as he sped off, with the pack of thugs in hot pursuit, police sources said.

“He feared for his life and the lives of his wife and daughter,” a police source said.

The thugs chased him more than 50 blocks north, as seen on the 6-plus-minute video, which quickly went viral. The crew pummeled Lien on the pavement in front of his wife, Rosalyn Ng, and their 2-year-old daughter, police sources said.Lien, who also was slashed during the melee, was rushed to Columbia University Medical Center. He needed stitches to his face and chest and had two black eyes.

Sources said the injured biker was being prepped for surgery Monday night, and doctors feared he might be left a paraplegic.
Here's the video. Fast forward to the end.

Note to self: if you're ever in pursuit of someone, with the intent to commit a felony, remember to turn off your video camera. And if you forget to turn off the camera for some reason, once said felony has been committed.
The video was uploaded by the biker to Live Leak with the caption, "A black Range Rover ran over a group of bikers in New York City during an annual street ride." The information posted with the video claimed that a biker was killed when he was hit by the Range Rover, but police said that was not true.

Police are investigating witness accounts. A video of the chase and confrontation was also uploaded to the Internet. Pisano said police are "combing everything" as part of their investigation, but no arrests have been made yet.
            Idiots.

I hope these imbeciles have the highest possible charges levied against them. I'm also not 100% convinced this isn't a hate crime, because I doubt these morons would have chased down a car full of N-words that looked like them. Maybe this'll convince cities to pay more attention to biker gangs (and street racers for that matter).

Question: Yeah, I know I sound like an old assed man, but please tell me ya'll aren't ok with this sorta activity. Please.

            [1] No, I haven't actually done that. I have a life. But I'd imagine it's pretty cool.

Russell Simmons Culturally Tone Deaf Comedy Jam.

Black Twitter has been afflutter the past couple of days by a sketch comedy bit called "The Harriett Tubman Sex Tape", which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. In case you've been under a rock, or don't know what Black Twitter is, here it go...

The fact that Russell Simmons is responsible for that f*ckery didn't help. almost immediately. Of course, this being the internet and all, it's still around. Nothing ever actually "goes away" on the web.
Russell Simmons is apologizing after coming under fire for a video that appeared on his new All Def Digital YouTube channel.

The "Harriet Tubman Sex Tape" depicts an actress portraying the famous abolitionist having sex with her "Massa" in order to allow her to run the Underground Railroad. The video has since been taken down. Simmons issued an apology on Globalgrind.com in which he says he was contacted by his "buddies" at the NAACP asking for removal of the video.

"I'm a very liberal person with thick skin," wrote Simmons. "My first impression of the Harriet Tubman piece was that it was about what one of actors said in the video, that 162 years later, there's still tremendous injustice. And with Harriet Tubman outwitting the slave master? I thought it was politically correct. Silly me. I can now understand why so many people are upset. I have taken down the video. Lastly, I would never condone violence against women in any form, and for all of those I offended, I am sincerely sorry."
While many are up in arms about the fact that a(n ex-) slave is portayed having consensual relations with a (presumed) slaveowner and taping it, I'm actually not. There's nothing rapey about this video, and I really wish people didn't go there. I also don't have any issue with Harriett Tubman, a beloved historial figure, being used for comedic intents. Nope, my problem is something entirely different altogether.

This sh*t just wasn't funny. At all. Period.

That's the first rule of comedy: make people laugh. Nothing here was funny. Nothing.

I don't consider any topic off limits. In the hands of capable writers and on screen talent, you can take a taboo subject and make it both hilarious and thought provoking. Comedians like Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Patrice O'Neal, and my current favorite Hannibal Burress have all more or less made careers of this. But these no-name, no talent bums in the Simmons' funded sketch had nothing going for them. There's no social commentary. No physical humor. Nothing.

Still, I don't get all the uproar here. This isn't the first comedy sketch that bombed, nor will it be the last. The fact that the NAACP is involved in this f*ckery, and that rodeo clown incident in the same week says something. Exactly what I'm not sure. But something.

I'm sorta outraged at all the outrage. You?

Question: Was this just a poorly conceived comedy skit that went really bad, or a sign of the collapse of Negro civilization?

GOP Congressman Calls Hispanic Teens "Drug Mules".

Since getting their asses handed to them last November, the GOP has talked a good talk about "expanding the tent" being "more inclusive" and "reaching out to minority communities". Well, actually they haven't. They merely said they would during their post-election autopsy, but have gone right back to being the jerks they are.

No GOP politician typified said jerkdom more than Iowa Congressman Steve King, a guy who is the DC incarnation of Rush Limbaugh. Never one to hold his tongue when it comes to talking about minorities, King delivered a racial insult of legendary proportions last week. And wouldn't you know it, House Leader John Boehner is speaking up to finally , albeit an entire week after the fact.
House Republican leaders are denouncing one of their own for remarks made last week that disparaged most illegal immigrants as drug smugglers. The comments by Rep. Steve King (Iowa) came as the GOP is trying to improve its image and political prospects among the fast-growing Latino community.

King, one of the House’s most vocal opponents of immigration reform, told the conservative Web site Newsmax that for every young illegal immigrant who becomes a valedictorian, “there’s another 100 out there that — they weigh 130 pounds, and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert.”

Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) condemned King on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Rep. Raul R. Labrador (R-Idaho), who was born in Puerto Rico, called King’s remarks, made last Thursday, “irresponsible and reprehensible.”

“What he said was out of touch with the conference. There’s nobody in the conference who would say such a thing, and I hope that he, if he thought about it, he wouldn’t say such a thing again,” added Labrador, who spent months working with seven House colleagues on a comprehensive immigration reform bill before dropping out of the stalled effort last month.

King’s office did not respond to a request for comment. But in an appearance on Radio Iowa on Tuesday evening, King stood by his remarks, saying his description of some immigrants as “drug mules” came from talking with Border Patrol agents.

He said that if immigration reform proponents “choose to characterize this about valedictorians, I gave them a different image that we need to be thinking about, because we just simply can’t be passing legislation looking only at one component of what would be millions of people.”
Wowzers. Not only did King not apologize, he basically doubled down. But thanks for telling us all about the astronimical calves of Hispanic teens, Steve. Cool story, bro. Sure, it might offend the millions of kids who work hard in school, and just might make these kids lifetime Democrats by default, but hey, the comparatively miniscule number who might actually be drug mules need to be grabbed by their grapefruit.. err, cantaloupe sized calves and thrown back over the border.[1] Amirite?

And that, my friends, is why the GOP is on a fast track to becoming totally irrelevant.

I've long contended that if the party's leadership merely stood up and publicly denounced some of its less savory members when they say stupid sh*t like this, it would help project the sense that such opinions aren't welcome. In retrospect, that was silly. Reality is, the party needs to quit promoting and helping get people who say ignorant sh*t like this elected in the first place. Still, kudos to Boehner for doing what decent human beings do when in roles of leadership.

Question: Is there anything the GOP can do to reach out to minorities when people like Steve King are in policy crafting positions?

[1] BTW, if you think the quote on the photo above is just some silly internet meme, you're wrong. Yes,.

            Let The Rioting Begin! #NoJustice4Trayvon

putting wagers on the likelihood of this not happening. Yeah, so much for that.
Protesters ran through Los Angeles streets Monday night, breaking windows, attacking people on sidewalks and at one point raiding a Wal-Mart store, while others blocked a major freeway in the San Francisco Bay Area in the third night of demonstrations in California over George Zimmerman’s Florida acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

Thirteen people were arrested after multiple acts of vandalism and several assaults in Los Angeles’ Crenshaw District, Mayor Eric Garcetti and Police Chief Charlie Beck said at a news conference.

More than 300 officers were called to the scene and were at first slow to directly engage protesters in an attempt to allow a peaceful end to the demonstration, Beck said. But the chief said police would take a much stricter posture in the coming nights.

Several hundred mostly peaceful protesters gathered Monday night at Leimert Park southwest of downtown LA, many of them chanting, praying and singing.

But a smaller group of between 100 and 150 people splintered off and began blocking traffic on nearby Crenshaw Boulevard, some of them jumping on cars and breaking windows at liquor stores and fast food outlets.

Several protesters ran into a Wal-Mart store, where they knocked down displays before store security chased them out, and police began guarding the door.
Let's be real here: (they're not rioters) have nothing to do with #Justice4Trayvon. These are opportunists who saw an open window to procure a few free bottles of Loopys[1] and a PS3 for their "suffering". These Negroes deserve whatever lumps the LAPD doles out. And while we're at it, how about ?!?
Trends come and go on social media, here’s hoping this one goes quickly.

People have taken to posting pictures of themselves online imitating the picture of Trayvon Martin’s dead body aired on live TV Friday during coverage of George Zimmerman’s murder trial.

Done by teens, most of whom are white, Trayvoning involves people lying motionless on the ground with Skittles and an iced tea, often while wearing a hoodie.

‘I don’t think it’s very appropriate to do,’ one woman told Fox 40. ‘It hurts me, and it’s not my son,’ James Shelby, president of the Greater Sacramento Urban League, told the station, adding ‘We need more conversations in 北京体彩网官方网站s about how we can all get along better. In turn, our kids are educated in things we shouldn’t do.’
I can has visit from George Zimmerman?!?

            Assholes.

Question: What's up with these kids?

[1] What ya'll know bout' that?!?

Ashy Or Classy?!? The Most Ratchet 100 Year Old Woman Ever.

True story: I once met a 114 year old woman.[1] A few years ago, I was visiting my Grandmother and she told us she wanted to go visit a woman she'd read about in the local newspaper who'd lived in 3 different centuries and was still tickin'. So we drove to the woman's town, my grandma stopped at a gas station and asked where the woman lived, we successfully located her house, and were greeted at the door by her granddaughter, who was elated to see three strangers at the door (my brother was with us) and invited us in to see the lady we'd driven an hour to find.

The end result was nothing at all like this ghetto sh*t! somethin' like this.

Sorry, I know some of ya'll are gonna say this is cute, but this sh*t is ratchet as f*ck. I guess this is would would happen if Miss Joseline somehow made it past age 40. It's not amusing. But maybe that's just me.

            This is very, very Ashy.

Question: Ashy or Classy? Is a 100 year old woman entitled to talk about as many random d*cks as she likes, or does this lady need to be at Shady Knolls?!?

[1] Completely true story, BTW. I was probably more amazed that this family just allowed as random assed folks to walk up in their 北京体彩网官方网站 more than anything else. The lady was surprisingly lucid for her age, and nothing like the one-time Cab Calloway jumpoff in the video above. It was pretty inspiring. This was several years ago, and last I heard she was still alive.

            Rachel Jeantel: Worst. Witness. Ever.

You saw it (or are seeing it live right now). It's a total trainwreck, and I can't stop watching it.

            Talk about it here.

Question: Has Rachel Jeantel singlehandedly set George Zimmerman free?!?

            22 Kids By 14 Baby Mothers. #HappyBelatedFathersDay

Personally, I loved how this guy referred to his kids as his "siblings". And that tells you all you need to know about Orlando Shaw, AB.com's Father Of The Year.

Why The GOP Will Never, Ever, Ever Win The Black Vote, In A Nutshell.

No need to lie, after Baltimore went up 28-6 at the beginning of the 3rd quarter, I thought to myself "man, this Superbowl really sucks". I'm fairly sure most people who don't live in the city of Baltimore thought the exact same thing. Of course, most of them didn't feel the need to go to Twitter and express their feelings of suckitude by comparing said suckiness to a dead teenager. And most of the people who did so were prolly not (former) GOP state party executives.

            Some , however.
During last night’s Super Bowl, former South Carolina GOP executive director Todd Kincannon sent out a flurry of racially-charged tweets, stirring controversy among social media users.

Kincannon’s tweets largely involved “jokes” about Trayvon Martin, d*ck-sucking, Hurricane Katrina, and black people. After receiving much criticism for his Trayvon Martin remark, Kincannon dug in deeper, thrice more invoking the shooting victim’s name as a punchline.

And, given the mid-game blackout, Kincannon took the opportunity to make a “joke” about the arena and its use as shelter for the “poors” among New Orleans’ majority black population during Hurricane Katrina. The tweets sent off a flurry of negative responses, which was met with the legal analyst doubling down on his remarks, laughing off criticism, and re-tweeting dozens of supportive responses.
Congrats, GOP, for proving once again what you really think about us, and ensuring that unless you somehow manage to kidnap, brainwash, and run Michelle Obama, you'll never see anything more than 5-7% of the black vote.

Seriously, it's difficult for me to understand the feeble mindedness that produces such garbage. How exactly did this ingrate manage to ascend the party ranks and (once) run the South Carolina GOP? Did others in the party have any idea of his views? Did they care? The party loves touting its (recent) success with minority candidates in the Palmetto state. What's Senator Tim Scott's view on his? How about Governor Nikki Haley? I'm sure both will issue the standard "I wasn't aware of his Tweets" non-refutal, and that's really sad on too many levels to count here.

Kincannon, to his credit, isn't playing the ole' "my cousin tweeted that/my account was hacked" card. Nope, , and using tweets by those offended as proof for how "intolerant liberals are". So yeah, even though he's a total racist jackass, at least he's a standup guy.[1] There's something to be said for that. I'd much rather know how you really feel about me than to wonder. So props for that Mr. Kincannon.

Question: Why won't the GOP stand up to idiots like this? Do they realize/care about the damage such sentiments do to their "brand"?!?

[1] He was also last year after having bashed Anthony Weiner for the same thing, but hey, nobody's perfect.
